This stunning 1930's, art deco, drop pendant necklace will quickly become your favorite go to necklace.
Three fabulous, carved blue glass drops dangle gently from filigree links making three pendant drops. The chain of the necklace has the same filigree links. The links have a delicate floral motif throughout its length.
The necklace is rhodium plated and, therefore, is very shiny. Rhodium plating was very popular during this time as it didn't tarnish like sterling silver and was much more durable than silver plating. Rhodium was used mainly as plating because it's an extremely hard, brittle metal that costs more than gold.
The carved glass looks like Czech, but there are no markings on the necklace.
- Carved glass drops are 1 inches long and 1/2 inches wide including the filigree caps.
- Drops are 1 3/4 inches long from the top of the filigree links to the bottom of the glass.
- Length is 16 inches long.
