Made in the 1920s or 30s, this art deco bangle is rhodium plated and hinged. The bracelet has a beautiful, filigree pattern throughout and has a small, diamond shaped, amethyst glass stone surrounded by glass paste rhinestones. It is signed, but I can't make out the initials very well.
The hinge and locking mechanisms work well. There are no stones missing on the bracelet.
Rhodium plating was popular on art deco jewelry as it doesn't tarnish like silver, and the plating lasts longer than silver plating. Rhodium also costs more per ounce than gold.
