This necklace was made between 1895 and 1905. It has a gold wash over brass and has three amethyst glass stones. The largest stone is set in a large, etched setting with a tiny purple and green enamel flower and dangles gently in the center of the necklace. The two smaller amethyst glass stones sit on either side of the large stone and are rectangular. The stones are faceted and have sawtooth settings.
The largest stone has a small dent, for lack of a better word, in the center. It is not a crack, just a tiny dent that was probably a bubble that burst when making the glass.
The gold wash is worn in places, especially on the chain. The spring ring closure is in good working order.
- Smallest stones are 1/4 inches long and 1/2 inches wide.
- Largest stone is 3/8 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. Setting is 3/4 inches long and 1 inches wide.
- Drop length is 1 1/4 inches.
- Length is 17 inches long.
